About Kinapod Run
Kinapod Run is a mobile app that helps runners track treadmill workouts using only a smartphone. Some features may optionally use Apple HealthKit on supported devices with your permission.
What information we collect
We collect only what is needed to operate and improve the service.
- Technical data from our web server such as IP address and browser user agent when you visit our site.
- Contact information that you provide such as name and email when you subscribe, contact us, or join early access.
- In-app data that you choose to record such as workout timestamps and basic session metrics generated by the phone sensors.
- Optional health data if you grant permission through HealthKit such as heart rate. Health data is stored and processed according to Apple policies and your platform permissions.
Location data
The Kinapod Run app focuses on treadmill use. We do not collect GPS location by default. If you enable features that need approximate device motion or location, you will be asked for consent inside the app.
How we use information
- To deliver core features of the app and personalize your experience.
- To improve the product based on aggregated and anonymized analytics and your feedback.
- To communicate with you about updates, early access, surveys, and support. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
Cookies
Our website may use cookies to remember preferences and to measure aggregated traffic and interactions. You can control cookies in your browser settings.
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. Data retention and deletion
We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above or as required by law. You can request deletion of your account data by emailing us. If you connected HealthKit, you can also remove Kinapod Run permissions in iOS Settings. Removing permissions will stop new data from flowing to Kinapod Run.

Software License Agreement
End User License Agreement for Kinapod Run. Please read carefully before using the app.
1. License grant
Kinapod grants you a limited, non transferable, non exclusive license to install and use the Kinapod Run mobile application on devices you own or control for your personal fitness use.
2. Ownership
The app is licensed, not sold. All rights, title, and interest in and to Kinapod Run and its content belong to Kinapod or its licensors.
3. Restrictions
You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app except where allowed by law. You may not rent, lease, or sublicense the app. You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices.
4. Health and safety
Kinapod Run provides informational metrics only. Always use your own judgment when training. Consult a medical professional if you have health concerns.
5. No warranties
The app is provided as is without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kinapod disclaims all implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non infringement.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kinapod is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or loss of data, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
7. Termination
This license terminates if you fail to comply with the EULA terms. Upon termination you must stop using the app and delete it from your devices.
8. Third party platforms
The app works with Apple iPhone and AirPods hardware and may integrate with third party platforms such as Apple Health and Strava. Use of those platforms is subject to their own terms and policies. Apple, AirPods, iPhone, and Apple Health are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries. Strava is a trademark of Strava, Inc. Kinapod is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc. or Strava, Inc.
